At the Playground Foundation, our mission is to promote and support the arts, inclusiveness, and to increase awareness, respect and public appreciation of the arts. We produce and create community events, including the immersive and transformative experience within the Burning Man community, harnessing the power of sound, the power of emotion, and collective participation to promote our mission. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we are dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive environment that embraces creativity, self-expression and collaboration.

 

Our Goals:

• Soundscapes of Exploration: We strive to curate an eclectic and diverse lineup of music and sound experiences that inspire exploration, celebration, and personal growth. Through carefully crafted DJ sets, live performances, and production installations, we aim to offer a rich tapestry of sonic adventures that resonate with humans from all walks of life.

• Artistic Expression: We recognize that sound is an art form that transcends boundaries, and we encourage artists, musicians, and performers to express themselves authentically. By providing a platform for emerging and established talents, we foster an environment where creativity flourishes, promoting and encouraging collaboration, expression and experimentation.

• Community Building: We believe in the power of community to inspire and support personal transformation. Through music and events we foster connections, life-long friendships and creating a family that will be with you for life.

• Inclusivity and Accessibility: We are dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive space where people from diverse backgrounds, identities, and abilities feel safe and empowered to participate fully. Our camp actively promotes accessibility measures to ensure that all individuals can engage with our offerings and contribute to the collective experience.

• Giving Back: As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we are committed to giving back to both the Burning Man community and the wider world. We support local and global initiatives that align with our values, seeking to make a positive impact through charitable contributions, volunteering, and community engagement.
